ColorPoint & Goldens - Pictures coming soon!

Pictures coming soon. Two golden shaded folds with green eyes and one Blue Colorpoint with Straight ears and blue eyes. All 3 are males. Mom and dad are pictured here. Dad is our Grand Champion British Shorthair, Simba. Momma is our darling little Button and she is a Scottish Folds. British Shorthairs are an allowable crossbreed to TICA standards for a purebred Scottish Fold, you should never breed a fold with a fold. Both parents have been DNA tested as well as health screened for the top 4 killers in cats (PKD, FeLV, FIV, HCM) and have been cleared. We choose to breed to a British Shorthair instead of a Scottish Straight because the BSH gives their offspring a more plump, cheeky, round look. Due to a family emergency I had to leave town and could not get some recent photos up of the available kittens. When I return home I will get photos up as soon as possible.

All kittens will be spayed/neutered or required to be so.

What's the Process like if I want to Adopt?

Adopting is pretty standard. If you want to adopt I will send over a contract to you for your review and signature along with my Venmo for the down deposit on the kitten. Once I get the deposit I will send over a large email on how to prepare for the little ones arrival which goes over absolutely everything. Throughout the weeks I will update you on milestones and growth and answer any questions you may have. On kitten pickup day we will meet at a Catholic school nearby and that's when you will pay the remaining balance and pick the kitten up.  The kitten will be provided with a couple of days of hard food, canned food, a blanket with siblings scent, toys, and most important the health record showing their first vaccination, deworming, and so forth. Kittens can go home on average at 10 weeks old. If I feel they are not ready at 10 weeks, I will keep them longer.

I unfortunately do not allow home visits for various reasons.

The reason being; kittens do not have an existing immune system that can fight off anything brought into the home until a couple weeks after their first vaccine, which happens to line up with when they are going home.  For the kitten and the litter's protection, this is a policy I have had to adopt after learning the hard way. Also, the security element of strangers coming in and out of my home (expensive cats can attract criminals).

We do not ship Cargo, but we have met adopters at our local airport to pick the kitten up as their carry on and we do work with a travel nanny which is $600+

All kittens will be spayed/neutered or required to be so.

Amber's House

Eastcoastcat is a family run cattery shared between three homes. We believe in having our cats as our pets (our family) and not just as breeders.

We are not a broker and do not work with brokers, our cats and kittens are raised in our home beside us, around us and with us.

Were experienced breeders, Internationally ranked top 10, regionally ranked #1, TICA Outstanding Cattery, TICA award of excellence.

We health screen all of our cats for the top 4 lethal killers in cats that can be genetic: PKD, HCM, FeLV, FIV (NEGATIVE) and they are DNA Tested as well.

All kittens will be spayed/neutered or required to be so.
